USCF DECEMBER REVENUE STRONG
Preliminary USCF revenue data for December,
traditionally the best month of the year for sales, indicates that the
federation has made a spectacular recovery in this area under Executive Director
Frank Niro. Here are the numbers compared to recent December sales, and to
budget:
Dec 1999 $323,491
Dec 2000 $337,441
Dec 2001 $150,409
Dec 2002 (budgeted) $264,000
Dec 2002 (preliminary data) $353,754
The damage done to the USCF sales program under former Executive Director De Feis and the Redman-Pechac-Barry-Warren Board majority appears to have been completely reversed in just one year.
Other preliminary revenue numbers were also strong, but membership income was no doubt artificially high as members renewed early to beat the January 1 dues raise. Here are the membership totals:
Dec 1999 $159,259
Dec 2000 $168,964
Dec 2001 $184,778
Dec 2002 (budgeted) $212,000
Dec 2002 (preliminary data) $277,859
And after including magazines, other services, tournaments, and other revenue, here are total revenues:
Dec 1999 $580,839
Dec 2000 $558,043
Dec 2001 $367,190
Dec 2002 (budgeted) $566,150
Dec 2002 (preliminary data) $718,328
